DAY 1 | Saturday: Arrival to Lima

Upon arriving in Lima, you will be picked up and taken to your hotel.

Our representative will give you a documentation kit with detailed program explanation. Luggage and hotel registration assistance will be offered.

DAY 2 | Sunday: Lima

H/D City tour Colonial and Modern Lima with visit to Larco Museum

Visit modern and UNESCO World Cultural Heritage historic districts of Lima and see the Museum of Italian Art, Palace of Justice, Museum of Lima, Plaza San Martín, among others. Do a walking tour of Plaza de Armas, surrounded by emblematic buildings such as the Government Palace, the Cathedral and the Archbishop’s Palace. Grab the opportunity to see Convent of Santo Domingo, also declared Cultural Heritage of Humanity where the relics of Peruvian saints Santa Rosa de Lima, San Martín de Porres and San Juan Macías are found. You will also visit Rafael Larco Herrera Museum, which exhibits a valuable collection of almost 45,000 pieces of pre-Hispanic cultures, especially the Mochicas.

DAY 3 | Monday: Lima, Cusco

Breakfast. At schedule time transfer to the airport to board the flight to Cusco city.

Enjoy the charm of this beautiful colonial city that was built upon the remains of amazing Inca buildings. Not to miss: Temple of the Sun (Koricancha), San Pedro Market, the Cathedral, and the Inca Fortress of Sacsayhuaman.

DAY 4 | Tuesday: Cusco, Sacred Valley

FD History and Culture in Maras, Moray & Misminay

The Sacred Valley holds many of the most important archeological sites in the history. Discover the world of the Incas at the archaeological site of Moray, featuring a natural amphitheater used for agricultural research and experimentation. We will also visit the community of Misminay, where we will enjoy a valuable cultural exchange and get to know the traditional Andean way of life up close. As we head back to the valley, we will encounter Ollantaytambo and explore its imposing fortress that showcases the might of the Inca civilization.

DAY 5 | Wednesday: Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, Cusco

At proper time you will board the train from Ollantaytambo to Machu Picchu.

Full day Machu Picchu (SIB)

Machu Picchu awaits us! Our tour will begin at Aguas Calientes via train, also known as the famous Machu Picchu Pueblo where a picturesque town at the foot of the emblematic Inca citadel is located. During the train ride, enjoy the views of Vilcanota river and small towns of the Peruvian Andes. From Aguas Calientes by bus, be in awe of the one of Seven Wonders of the Modern World! From there you will discover ancient ruins and the mythical history this place holds. Once we are done feasting the beauty of this wonder, we will return to Aguas Calientes to have lunch and explore the town for a while before boarding the return train.
